Alumni Academic Counseling
The Alumni College Support Program begins during a CRSM student’s second semester of senior year in high school. Over the course of 12 weeks, seniors attend college readiness seminars taught by the Alumni Support Team to start preparing for the transition from high school to college.
While in college, the Director of Alumni College Support continues to work with alumni to provide one-on-one assistance with:
- Financial Aid: applying for FAFSA every year, assisting with verification, applying for financial aid appeals and emergency funds
- Academic Advising: selecting courses, navigating through picking a major, connecting with other alumni studying similar majors
- Transfer Advising: assisting alumni through the college transfer process
- Social emotional support throughout the postsecondary transition and getting connected to the appropriate resources
Additionally, the Director of Alumni College Support visits alumni on campus every fall to ensure students are supported at their college.
