Illinois Tax Credit Scholarship Program

QUADRUPLE YOUR IMPACT ON YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN

The Illinois Tax Credit Scholarship Program provides low-income families with direct high school tuition relief and provides much needed financial support to fund the cost of a rigorous college prep education and our work study program.

Who qualifies for these scholarships?

  • All CRSM families qualify for the scholarships.
  • Average Annual Family Income: $45,130
  • Average Family Size: 4
  • Scholarship-Eligible Students: 100%

As a donor, what is the process?

Here are the 4 steps for you to follow:

STEP 1
Request a “Letter ID” via MyTax Illinois website. mytax.illinois.gov

  • Your Letter ID will be mailed to the address on your last year’s tax return. You should receive it within 7–10 business days.

STEP 2
When you receive your “Letter ID” via US Mail, go back to MyTax Illinois website, mytax.illinois.gov, and set up an Account.

STEP 3
Now that you have an Account, reserve your IL Tax Credit Scholarship credits on mytax.illinois.gov Be sure to designate Region 2 and Cristo Rey St. Martin College
